Jarman - German DNA Project

I have read about the Jarman / German DNA Project which is described on this website; and I would like to participate. I understand that the results of this test will help determine whether or not the project participants are descended from a common ancestor, and I understand that a specific ancestor will not be targeted. Since the Jarman name has multiple origins, there will be more than one family line identified. I also understand that a match with another participant is not guaranteed.

I am enclosing my completed Descendant Chart, which contains my male Jarman (or variant spelling) line back to my earliest known JARMAN ancestor. I have included dates and places of birth and death when known, as well as where they resided, to enable you to match potential family lines. THE DESCENDANT CHART IS REQUIRED. I will also sign the Release Form for the analysis of my DNA sample; and give my consent to share the results with the Project Co-ordinator, John German, who may post these results anonymously on the Project web site.

DNA Sample Kits will be ordered from Family Tree DNA in Houston, Texas. Family Tree DNA will mail the sample kits to the participant. After the participant completes the swab test, sample kits that include the (1) Swab Test, (2) Release Form (3) and Payment for $103.00 (US) or $152.00 (US) or $193.00 (US) or $273.00 (US) will be returned to Family Tree DNA.
