Dear John German:

I've just noticed that my grandfather's entry is incomplete, not mentioning two of his children. He was (Dr.) George Wallace Jarman, b. 1861, d. 1939. You and I corresponded briefly some years ago and you told me that his son Shelby Jarman, a genealogist well before the computer era, had been a great help to you in tracing the Jarman lineage. Hence I was surprised that the record was incomplete.

Well, Shelby was my uncle, but your entry doesn't mention my father, who was the oldest, GWJ, Jr.. b. 1895, d. 1980, or my aunt, who was the youngest (Martha Frances Jarman), and I don't remember her dates. She married at the end of her life, my mother's brother--in--law, Lee Irby Betty. Shelby's three children were all girls: Frances, Margaret, and Penelope. Their mother was Margaret Duval (or Duvall?). Frances married William Tilghman and they settled in Salisbury, Maryland.

I am Mary Patricia Jarman Fearey (b. 1924, div. from William R. Fearey, b. 1924, one daughter, Tracy Chilton Fearey Welch, b. 1952). All three of us have been Westerners for years -- CA and AZ.
