Floy Mae Jerman was my great grandmother, only child of Fannie Everline Webb
Dabbs Jerman of Anson County and her husband, Charlie Jerman. Floy Mae
married Daniel Wesley Smith of Polkton (Anson Co). Daniel was the son of Dr.
Tom Smith who was a practicing physician and owned a farm or plantation in
the Polkton area and some buildings in the downtown area. Floy Mae and
Daniel had one child, my grandmother, Mark Kathleen Smith. Floy mae died of
"consumption" in about 1915. Daniel died about 4 years later in about 1919
of a stroke. Kathleen, was raised primarily by her maternal grandmother,
Fannie (Francis is not correct) Everline Webb Dabbs Jerman and her surviving
great aunts and uncles, most of whom never married, in the old Dabbs
plantation in the Gum Springs area of Anson County NC. I would love more
infor on the Jerman Family. I am researching my family and have very little
in for on the Jerman family. Kathleen married William Edward Perkins of
Hartsville SC and had two daughters. One of One of them, my mother's sister
is named Fannie Jerman Perkins (maiden name). My E-mail address is

Mr Jarman, of Paulding county, who had his whole family poisoned several days
ago, and which resulted in the death of one of his little children, is working
hard to find out who gave the poison. It was given in coffee. He thinks he has
a clue.
