Fisher in Jan. 1865. This was a few days after the famous battle that broke up the Confederate Blockade
running in the Fort Fisher/Wilmington, NC. Area. He was held prisoner for about 5 weeks then paroled
at the end of 1865. He is buried in the Rigdon Jarman Cemetery on Hwy. 258, Taylortown, Onslow
County, NC.
