I am not sure which county or city he was born. He live mostly in
Tallafoosa County, Alabama. There, according to the family bible, he
had a wife named Mystrice (don't know the maiden name) and a son named
John Thomas Jarman. I do not know if there were other offspring, but JT
Jarman was born in 1867, in Tallafoosa County. My bible only gos back
to JTF Jarman, and at that, it is only a mentioning indicating a birth
date of August 29, 1847 in Georgia. John Thomas Jarman had four
children, only one to survive beyond 10 years, that was my grandfather,
John Marvin Jarman (b.February 5, 1902 d.August 23, 1969). Now, JT
Jarman lived mostly in Tallassee, Elmore County, Alabama. He married
Ida Lee Wallace (b.September 10, 1868, Grangeville, SC) in Elmore
County, Alabama in 1893. The rest is living memory to me. I'm curious
as to JTF Jarman's history. Sadly, this is all I have of it. Please let
me know what you may have, if anything.
Thanks,
John Jarman
